About 1v1.LOL
1v1.LOL is what you’d get if you took Fortnite’s build-and-shoot formula and stripped it down to its core: two players, a handful of weapons, and the ability to build walls, ramps, and platforms on the fly. No storm shrinking over ten minutes, no 100-person lobby. Just you and one opponent seeing who can outbuild and outshoot the other.
The building is the skill ceiling. Shooting someone who can’t build is easy. Fighting someone who instantly throws up a wall and ramps over it while shooting back at you is a different problem entirely. Most people start playing for the shooting and end up spending their time in build practice.
How to play
WASD to move, mouse to aim and shoot, F to toggle build mode. In build mode, Z/X/C/V select different piece types — wall, floor, ramp, ceiling. Build to create cover, gain height advantage, or block incoming shots. Exit build mode to shoot. Switch fast enough and you can do both nearly simultaneously.
Tips & Tricks
Height wins fights. A ramp to a higher position forces your opponent to shoot up at you while you shoot down. Building up is almost always the right move in an open fight.
Wall-ramp plays: place a wall, immediately ramp over it. This is the baseline build you need before anything else. Practice it in the build mode until it’s muscle memory.
Don’t panic-build randomly. Unplanned structures waste materials and block your own sightlines. Build with intent: cover, height, or cone for protection.
