About Level Devil
Level Devil looks like a basic platformer. It is not. The floor disappears under you. Platforms that look solid aren’t. Spikes materialize out of thin air exactly when you land. The game doesn’t play fair — that’s the whole point.
Each level introduces a new way the environment can betray you. You die, you restart, and now you know one more thing not to trust. After enough deaths, you start second-guessing everything: Does this floor stay? Is that gap the real gap? The paranoia is part of the experience.
How to play
Move and jump like any platformer. The twist is that you can’t take anything at face value. Watch for tiles that change color or shake slightly — those are usually the ones about to disappear. Slow down near transitions where the environment could shift.
Tips & Tricks
Stop speedrunning the moment you die three times in the same spot. That’s a sign something in the level is countering your instinct. Take a breath, watch the full sequence without moving, and figure out what the level is actually doing.
Spikes that pop out tend to have a rhythm. If you die to them once and rush back in, you’ll die again to the same timing. Count the beat before committing to a path.
